“Transforming Trauma into Art” is an opportunity for young adults to reflect on their own interpersonal relationships and identify avenues to improve mental health through art.

Enisha offers aspiring artists a 7-Step guide on how to activate their creative engines and use their lived experiences to create impactful work. A screening of the short film, CLING and a Q&A follows.

​Ideal for Upper Grades and Undergraduate Students

Assembly & Film Screening  (50-300 participants) - 50 Minutes - In-Person or Virtual

Enisha Brewster shares her experience as an actor in Hollywood and how she created her own artistic lane by transforming a traumatic interpersonal relationship into the inspiration for a short film. The speaking engagement will touch on mental health, suicide awareness & prevention, contemporary and historical art, and activating one’s own creative engine through the 7-Step acronym I. M.A.T.T.E.R.

To conclude participants will screen the 10 minute short film, CLING followed by Q&A.
